Privacy Policy

PriceSpecter collects the minimum data needed to run the service: (1) the email address you provide when you save a Flip Alert, Seller Watch, or join the waitlist; (2) the alert / watchlist preferences tied to that email (search query, keywords, thresholds); (3) items you save to your Vault and your scan history, stored locally in your browser (localStorage / sessionStorage); and (4) anonymous usage analytics.

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand aggregate usage patterns. GA4 sets cookies and may collect approximate location, device type, and page-view data. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at any time using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Transactional and alert emails (Flip Alerts, Seller Watch notifications, waitlist updates) are sent through our email provider. You can disable alerts at any time from the Alerts settings page, and every alert email includes an unsubscribe link that we honor promptly.

Search results, sold-comp data, and listing details are retrieved live from eBay's public APIs. We do not permanently store eBay listing data on our servers, and we do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or profiling.

You can request deletion of your email address, alerts, watchlists, and any associated preferences at any time by emailing captcleanout@gmail.com. We process deletion requests within 7 days. To clear browser-stored data (Vault, scan history), clear your browser's site data for pricespecter.com.

PriceSpecter is not directed to and should not be used by anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
