Methodology
Eligibility: a confirmed retirement date, a known original retail price, at least 5 verified complete-set listings in the latest weekly snapshot, and at least six months since retirement. Only verified complete sets count — parts, minifigures, manuals, accessories and conflicting models are excluded by the complete-set classifier. Annualised change is the compound change from original retail to the current asking median over the years since retirement; periods shorter than six months are never annualised. No trimming is applied to the median — quartiles and the full range are published so outliers remain visible. A theme median is only published at 8 or more eligible sets.
